Contribute Financially

Providing logistical support for research, academics, recreation, training and outreach.

Financial Contributions

Donations of cash, stocks or planned giving go directly to supporting waterfront activities. Your contributions go directly where you designate! The Waterfront has an independent account that is directed by the Waterfront Operations Board and waterfront staff. Your contributions will go 100% to supporting the Waterfront Fund’s mission, some examples of where we are looking for additional support include:

  • Personal EPIRB’s- investing in this lifesaving must is one way to ensure the safety of our program and our students.  Each EPIRB costs $350 dollars, each life saved is priceless

  • Otter Trawls – an integral part of our continuing education program is pelagic sampling of our coastal waters.  Being without a net is like being without a paddle.  Each net costs around $200

  • Sea Camp Scholarships – providing for the educational, challenging and fun camps that the youth of our community may not otherwise afford, Sea Camp Scholarships $1000/child

  • Electronics and other equipment – financial contributions or donations of electronic navigation equipment, compasses, handheld radios, and radars would support our operations – investment $50-$25,000

  • Life Jackets, USCG required equipment and other safety gear – acquiring these items would help provide a safe learning environment – investment $200 per inflatable lifejacket $25 for a recharge

All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
